On the site of Adršpach Château in Teplice nad Metují, the fortress of the Lords Berk of Dubá stood in the 15th century. The oldest description of the château dates back to 1661. At the beginning of the 17th century Adam Bohdanecký had the château enlarged, further modifications took place under Count Prokop Hartman of Karlštejn in 1825, and the last structural changes took place in 1886. In 1945 the château was confiscated under the Beneš decrees. In the following decades the building fell into disrepair until, in 2012, the Adršpach municipality bought it and started its reconstruction. On 1 May 2014 the château was opened to the public for the first time. Visitors can see several permanent exhibitions in the château. They can see an exposition dedicated to life in the château, an exposition about the linen processing and the history of Adršpach, a climbing museum and a display of historical souvenirs and curiosities from the Adršpach-Teplice rocks. You can also visit the fairytale room for children or play an escape game based on the fairytale The Third Prince. Various exhibitions are regularly held here.
